[CamSlutsBlog] Hello LingerieCoquine, how old are you?
[LingerieCoquine] I will be 26 in 3 days!
[CamSlutsBlog] On which site(s) can we find you?
[LingerieCoquine] So, as you’ll discover in the rest of my answers, I’m not really a camgirl in the sense that I don’t perform live shows. I do, however, offer my naughty content on MYM.
[CamSlutsBlog] Since when and why did you become a camgirl?
[LingerieCoquine] As I just wrote, I am not actually a camgirl but offer naughty photos and videos on MYM.
I’ve always loved photography since I was little and lingerie since I was a teenager. Around my 19th or 20th birthday, I started posting pictures of myself in lingerie on Instagram and then twitter. Honestly, I can’t remember exactly why… Certainly in hopes of getting compliments 😉 or at least getting some feedback.
The more time goes by, the more I “professionalize” my photos: setting up a mini studio, high-end camera, triggers, spotlights, the whole shebang… My subscribers are happy and so am I. My best friend joins me, I take pictures of her, she takes pictures of me (nothing sexual, just lingerie pictures) but she doesn’t publish them. Anyway, I’m doing this for pure hobby.
One night, I’m chatting at a restaurant with this friend and we come across a tweet from a girl who claims to earn $10,000/month on onlyfans. My girlfriend laughs and says, “you just have to sign up to post your lingerie photos!” We laugh at the time, but deep down I say to myself why not? A few weeks of reflection followed, where I was torn between the idea of earning money without doing much more than I was already doing and the image that society gives to these girls. I’m also apprehensive about my best friend’s reaction. Will she stay with her if I ever make money this way?
I finally take the plunge and sign up on onlyfans. The beginning is chaotic not with the subscribers (4 in all ;-)) but with the platform. The support is not very reactive and does not solve my problems. So I end up closing this account and open one on MYM. At first, the subscribers are not too much but gradually the number increases (as well as the income!).
So today I post at least one lingerie photo daily. I also have more and more specific requests made by subscribers. These are often about stripteases. The content published is more sensual and erotic than “sexual”. I never post a photo or video where I am fully naked.
And to answer the question, I opened my MYM account about 1 year ago.
[CamSlutsBlog] Are you managing to make a living from it? Can you give us some numbers?
[LingerieCoquine] No I don’t make a living from it and that’s not the goal, at least not right now. The figures are not taboo, I earn roughly between 600 and 900€ per month depending on the requests. This corresponds to subscriptions and private media. To this must be added the charges + taxes but which are low because I have the Acre (Help to create or take over a business).
This may seem low for professional camgirls but you have to take into account that I don’t work much more than before when I was only posting on twitter/Instagram. Also, I don’t show myself naked so it necessarily pays less. In any case, for me it’s absolutely not negligible because it’s about half of my salary as an employee (bac+3)!
[CamSlutsBlog] How do you protect your privacy on the sites?
[LingerieCoquine] I didn’t address this in my previous replies, but I have never shown my face in photos or videos until now. I arrange for it to be either, out of frame, hidden, or masked. In my early days, I used to play with this mystery a lot in my lingerie photos.
On the other hand, I have a lot of requests from private media asking me to show my face. For now, I don’t do it, see in the future.
[CamSlutsBlog] Do your relatives know about your activity?
[LingerieCoquine] Only my best friend (who is thankfully discreet!).
[CamSlutsBlog] What is your legal status?
[LingerieCoquine] Self-employed. Simple and largely sufficient for my current income.
[CamSlutsBlog] Any advice for beginning camgirls?
[LingerieCoquine] I’m not a camgirl yet so no, sorry 😉
[CamSlutsBlog] Are you on social media?
[LingerieCoquine] yes, twitter and Instagram as mentioned before. To note, I don’t think my MYM account would have worked without the already existing community on my social networks. As you write on your site, it’s an important visibility vector.
[CamSlutsBlog] Where do you see yourself in 5 years?
[LingerieCoquine] This is THE question and the reason for my interview on the site. I’m seriously considering taking the next step by doing live showcams so. On the other hand, I wish to remain soft with stripteases, lingerie… To see if there is an audience. Answer in a few months!
So in 5 years, maybe camgirl! But I’m not thinking of quitting my salaried job for that. Security, bank loan,… and I’m not sure I’ll be this hot (self-congratulatory) at 40 🙂
[CamSlutsBlog] Thanks for sharing.
