A fair number of you have asked me what equipment I use to perform my shows. The answer is already present on the site but scattered in different pages. So I’m writing this short article to summarize in one place the equipment I use as a camgirl. I will update it as it evolves.
My computers to broadcast showcams
I have two computers: a fixed PC and a laptop. I broadcast 90% of the time from my fixed PC. The laptop is only used to broadcast when I’m on the road or for shows in “unusual” places using a 4G key.
Fixed PC configuration:
- Processor: AMD Ryzen 5 3600
- RAM: 2*16 GB DDR4 3000 MHz
- Graphic card: RTX 2060 SUPER 8 GB
- Motherboard: MSI MPG X570 GAMING PLUS
- SSD: 480GB PCIe NVMe
- Hard drive: Seagate BarraCuda 4TB
- Display: Samsung 27″ LED – LC27JG50QQUXEN
Laptop configuration:
- Model: Lenovo Thinkpad X260
- Processor: i5-6200U
- Ram: 16GB DDR4
- SSD: 256GB
- Display: 12.5-inch IPS FHD
I would like to add a note regarding my desktop PC. It is totally overbuilt for making showcams. It’s not its only function (I do a bit of machine learning, it’s my geeky side!) and so don’t get scared vis a vis your configuration. I started my camgirl business with a simple Core2Duo processor and 4GB of ram and it worked. It’s not as good as it is now, but it got me started without any problems.
My internet connection
I am fortunate to have fiber where I currently live. In other words, no internet speed issues limit the video quality of my shows.
I used to live in an area with only “basic” ADSL. By this I mean ADSL that can be found 2km from the town of a village of 500 inhabitants… I had to limit myself to broadcasting in HD and not in HD+ to avoid any lag in the video broadcast. In the end, nothing prohibitive (the viewers were there) but I am quite happy with the fiber now 😉
I also sometimes do shows in more unusual places. I use a 4G dongle for that. Using your phone as a 4G router also works, but I find the 4G key more convenient.
My webcams
I own two webcams. The first, a Logitech C920 HD Pro that has been following me for many years. The second, which I acquired a short time ago in order to do dual cam shows, a Logitech C922 Pro Stream.
The video quality is similar, the C922 Pro has the advantage of coming with a handy tripod.
My Spotlights
This is a tough one for me as I’ve never been the most adept at lighting management. I use this 2 spotlight kit for that:
This works for me and I use it most often in indirect lighting. Honestly, it’s a plus but not essential to start.
My streaming management software
I use a specialized software for managing streaming video. It allows me to:
- to add a watermark to the shows I produce. I will write an article soon about the interest of this watermark.
- to make shows in camsplitting. Currently, I use little this technique even if it is very interesting.
- to realize shows in double cam. Recent technique for me but very promising!
This is the Manycam software.
My sex toys: the basis of camgirl gear
What would an article about camgirl gear be without talking about sex toys! I obviously have a number of these nice items but I’m only going to talk about the main 3.
Connected sex toys: Lovense Lush2 and Nora:
Classic certainly, but essential! For those who don’t know, these are connected sex toys that react to tips given by your viewers. I already wrote an article about it. In short, buy them with your eyes closed!

A fuckmachine:
I also have a fuckmachine that I bought a few years ago. I can’t find the exact model for sale anymore but it is very similar to this one:
Yes, it’s not a great design, but it’s worked very well since I’ve been using it. I see there are some nicer and smaller ones on amazon today. To be tested!
